We’re all about the classic pumpkin spice latte during the fall season, but once happy hour approaches, we’re reaching for something a bit stronger. Enter: pumpkin spice White Russians. We gave the classic cocktail a fall twist in this recipe with the addition of pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and a graham cracker rim. Not only is it a delicious fall cocktail, but it couldn’t be easier to create. Trust us, PSL fans—this twist on the classic White Russian will be your go-to all season long.
How to make a pumpkin spice White Russian:
In addition to the classic vodka and kahlua, we swap out the heavy cream in this fall-themed cocktail with pumpkin spice creamer. Use your favorite brand, or if you’re looking to take this drink over-the-top, create your own with our DIY pumpkin coffee creamer recipe.
How to make the rim:While it’s completely optional, our pumpkin spice-graham cracker rim really completes this fall cocktail. We create the rim by combining pumpkin pie spice and crushed graham crackers on a plate, then dipping each of our glasses in water before dipping in the mixture, coating all of the edges. If you’re not feeling the graham cracker rim, feel free to leave it off, or swap it out for another garnish like homemade whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
Serving ideas:These drinks will be the star of any happy hour, but if you’re looking for some snacks to serve alongside, some gingersnap cookies, apple spice cake, or tiramisu cake (if you’re looking for a true stunner) would all be perfect pairings.
